Privacy
This page explains what wartimepr.com collects, where it goes, and how long it is kept.
Entity
WartimePR LLC, a Delaware, USA limited liability company.
Not a law firm
WartimePR is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Using this site or engaging WartimePR does not create an attorney-client relationship. Where legal work is required, outside counsel is instructed separately.
The contact form
The form at /contact asks for four things: your name, how to reach you (email, phone, or a Signal number), one line on the situation, and whether it is urgent.
- The form is not stored on this website and is not written to any database here. Submitting it passes it to an automation service we operate, which emails it, from a dedicated WartimePR notification mailbox on Google Workspace, to the person who handles enquiries on WartimePR's behalf.
- A copy of that email is kept in the sent mail of the notification mailbox and in the mailbox of the person who receives it, under their ordinary mailbox retention practice. Neither this website nor the automation service keeps a record of the submission's content.
- A hidden field on the form (a "honeypot") exists only to catch automated submissions; a real visitor never sees or fills it in, and a filled-in honeypot is discarded without being read or sent anywhere.
Rate limiting
To stop the form being flooded with automated submissions, the site keeps a short-lived count of how many submissions have come from the same connection. It does not store an IP address in readable form — only a one-way, salted cryptographic hash of it, paired with a timestamp — and that hash is kept only long enough to enforce the limit (currently ten minutes) before it expires.
Cookies
The public site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookie anywhere on wartimepr.com identifies a signed-in staff session in the admin area at /admin; it is not set for, or used to track, visitors to the public pages.
Payments
Booking a priority call is handled by Calendly and the payment processor connected to it — not by wartimepr.com directly. Card details are entered there, not on this site, and never reach our servers.
The $500 priority-call fee is non-refundable, including where no engagement follows. If an engagement does follow, the fee is credited in full against it.
